OUTDOOR INSTALLATION
The Rinnai Hotflo 170L Is External Use Only
The Hotflo 170L must be installed outdoors. It is not an indoor gas-storage water heater.
Rinnai requires the unit to stand on a permanently level, stable and clean-draining surface suitable for the appliance. The manufacturer recommends a plinth where the water heater is exposed to wet conditions.
