STAINLESS-STEEL SELF-PRIMING PRESSURE SYSTEM
Bianco BIA-INOX60CORE Stainless Steel Pressure Pump with NXT Controller
The Bianco BIA-INOX60CORE is a self-priming stainless-steel jet pressure system designed for smaller domestic water supply, rainwater-tank pressure systems, light garden irrigation, water transfer and compatible pressure-boosting applications.
White International's current product listing still uses the legacy-style name BIA-INOX60S2NXT in its page title, while the current product code and 2026 installation manual identify the system as BIA-INOX60CORE. Both refer to current order code 808394.
The current manufacturer manual specifies a 0.60kW fixed-speed jet pump, 62L/min maximum flow and 43m maximum head, paired with the Bianco NXT CORE electronic pressure controller.
Installed Today can offer the BIA-INOX60CORE as supply only or through eligible supplied-and-installed pathways in Brisbane and Gold Coast service areas, subject to the water source, suction conditions, pipework, electrical supply, pump location and required hydraulic performance.
Bianco INOX60CORE at a glance: order code 808394, 0.60kW self-priming jet pump, 62L/min maximum curve flow, 43m maximum head in the current 2026 manual, 4A maximum current, 1-inch BSP female suction inlet, 1-inch BSP male outlet, 2.2-bar factory start pressure, digitally adjustable start pressure from approximately 0.5 to 6.0 bar and 304 stainless-steel pump construction.
CURRENT PRODUCT IDENTITY
Is It BIA-INOX60S2NXT or BIA-INOX60CORE?
White International currently uses both names in its manufacturer material.
BIA-INOX60S2NXT
This remains the title used on White International's current online product listing for order code 808394.
BIA-INOX60CORE
This is the current product code shown on the manufacturer page, current data sheet and 2026 NXT InoxCORE installation manual.
For current technical information, the BIA-INOX60CORE designation is the clearer reference because it matches the current-generation manual and NXT CORE controller platform.
FIXED SPEED, AUTOMATIC CONTROL
Is the Bianco INOX60CORE Variable Speed?
No. The INOX60CORE uses a conventional fixed-speed asynchronous motor.
The NXT CORE controller provides automatic pressure-based starting, no-flow stopping and electronic protection, but it does not continuously vary motor speed to maintain a constant outlet pressure.
When system pressure falls below the configured start pressure, the controller starts the pump. The pump then runs at normal motor speed until water demand stops and flow falls below the controller's stop threshold.
Electronic automatic control is not the same as inverter-driven constant pressure. The INOX60CORE is a fixed-speed jet pump with an automatic digital controller.

MAXIMUM HEAD UPDATE
Is the Maximum Head 43m or 45m?
Current White International manufacturer material is not completely aligned.
The live product listing still displays 45m maximum head in its title and specification field.
The newer manufacturer data sheet and 2026 NXT InoxCORE installation manual list the INOX60CORE at 43m maximum head.
The page below uses 43m as the current technical figure because it is the value published in the newer current-generation manual. The older 45m value remains visible on White International's live product listing.
HYDRAULIC PERFORMANCE
Does the INOX60CORE Deliver 62L/Min at 43m Head?
No. Maximum flow and maximum head occur at different operating points.
The current manufacturer curve begins at approximately 43m head near zero flow. Available pump head falls as flow increases.
At higher flow rates, the pump therefore delivers substantially less than 43m head.
Do not convert 43m head into a pressure figure and assume that pressure remains available at 62L/min. Pump sizing needs to consider the required flow and pressure at the same operating point.
Suction lift, long pipe runs, undersized pipe, filters, fittings and building elevation further reduce the pressure available at the final outlet.

NXT CORE CONTROLLER
What Does the NXT CORE Controller Do?
The NXT CORE electronic controller automates normal pump operation.
The current system is factory-set to start the pump once pressure falls below approximately 2.2 bar.
The start pressure can be digitally adjusted between approximately 0.5 and 6.0 bar where the required duty and plumbing system suit that setting.
The pump stops once flow falls below approximately 0.5L/min.
- Digital system-pressure display
- Automatic starting on pressure drop
- Automatic stopping on low or no flow
- Dry-run protection
- Restart after water loss
- Restart after power interruption
- Frequent-start protection
- Plug-and-play pump connection
CONTROLLER RATINGS
What Are the NXT CORE Controller Limits?
The current 2026 InoxCORE manual lists the NXT CORE controller for approximately 240V, 50Hz operation with a maximum pump load of approximately 10A / 1.5kW.
The same manual lists a controller maximum pressure of 10 bar and maximum operating temperature of approximately 60°C.
The controller's 10-bar component rating is not the maximum pressure of the complete INOX60CORE pump system. The current pump technical table lists the complete pump system at a maximum of 6 bar.
CONTROLLER IP RATING
Is the NXT CORE Controller IP55 or IP65?
Current manufacturer documents conflict on this detail.
White International's live product page lists the NXT CORE controller as IP65.
The newer 2026 InoxCORE installation manual lists the controller as IP55.
Use the rating marked on the actual supplied controller and its accompanying documentation for the installation. The manufacturer sources currently do not publish one consistent IP figure.
Regardless of that discrepancy, the current installation manual still requires the complete pump and controller to be protected from rain, moisture, flooding and environmental extremes.
PRESSURE VESSEL
Does the INOX60CORE Need a Pressure Tank?
The NXT controller can operate the pressure system automatically, but Bianco's current manual recommends a 3L, 8L or 18L pressure vessel for more efficient domestic operation.
The vessel holds a small quantity of pressurised water and reduces unnecessary pump starts from small draw-offs or minor system leakage.
Bianco specifically links fewer pump starts with lower wasted energy and longer pump life.
For the INOX60CORE, the manufacturer's current pressure-vessel diagram lists approximately 2.97 bar as its example vessel gas-pressure setting based on two-thirds of expected maximum system pressure.
Do not assume the digital controller makes a pressure vessel pointless. The current manufacturer manual specifically recommends a 3–18L vessel for most efficient operation.
START FREQUENCY
Why Does Excessive Cycling Matter?
Bianco warns that the pump should not start more than approximately 20 times in one hour.
Very frequent starts can occur when there are small leaks, insufficient stored pressure volume or an installation that continually creates tiny water demands.
This is one reason the manufacturer recommends a small external pressure vessel for normal domestic systems.
DRY-RUN PROTECTION
What Happens if the Water Supply Runs Out?
The NXT CORE controller incorporates dry-run protection and restart functionality.
If usable water becomes unavailable, the controller can shut the pump down to prevent ongoing operation without water.
The controller can subsequently attempt to resume normal operation after the water supply returns.
Dry-run protection is a fault safeguard, not permission to operate the pump without water. Bianco states that dry operation damages the mechanical seal and can void warranty coverage.
SELF-PRIMING SUCTION
Can the INOX60CORE Draw Water Up From a Tank?
Yes. The INOX60CORE is a self-priming jet pump and can operate with the water source below the pump when the suction installation is properly designed, airtight and primed.
The current Bianco manual describes suction pipework as the most critical part of the installation because air leaks or excessive restriction can significantly affect pump performance.
- Use suction pipe at least as large as the pump inlet
- Keep the suction run as short as practical
- Maintain airtight connections
- Avoid pipework that traps air
- Prime the pump and suction pipe before first operation
- Use a suitable foot valve and intake screen where required
FOOT VALVE & INTAKE
When Does the INOX60CORE Need a Foot Valve?
The current manual states that suction piping drawing upwards by more than approximately 1 metre requires a non-return foot valve and intake screen.
Bianco also recommends:
- At least approximately 500mm of water above the intake
- Keeping the intake screen at least approximately 100mm above the tank or well bottom
- Avoiding positions where the intake can draw sediment
- Using the manufacturer's suction-pipe sizing guidance
These measures help maintain prime while reducing debris intake and suction losses.
SUCTION PIPE SIZE
Why Does Suction Pipe Size Matter?
Bianco's current manual warns that suction pipe that is too small, too long or required to lift water a significant height can cause a substantial reduction from the pump's rated duty.
The manufacturer's suction chart therefore increases recommended pipe diameter as the combined suction length and lift become more demanding.
A larger pump cannot compensate for a badly designed suction line. Air leaks, excessive lift and restrictive pipework can reduce flow, cause poor starting and increase reliability problems.
RAINWATER TANKS
Is the INOX60CORE Suitable for Rainwater Tanks?
Yes. Tank-fed domestic water supply is one of Bianco's stated applications.
The water needs to be clean enough for the pump and should not contain significant sand, sludge or abrasive contamination.
The INOX60CORE provides pressure from the tank but does not by itself provide automatic rainwater-to-mains changeover.
Automatic mains backup requires a separate compatible rainwater-management arrangement. The pump controller manages the pump; it does not select between tank water and mains water.
MAINS BOOSTING
Can the INOX60CORE Be Connected Directly to Mains Water?
Bianco identifies pressure boosting as an application, but its current installation manual states that direct connection of this type of pump to the mains water supply is not recommended.
Where mains pressure is inadequate, the manufacturer's stated best-practice approach is an isolating or break tank from which the pressure pump draws water.
The final plumbing arrangement needs to be selected for the actual property.
CLEAN WATER REQUIREMENTS
What Water Can the INOX60CORE Pump?
The pump is designed for clean water.
Bianco warns that sand and mineral contamination can adversely affect both the hydraulic pump and electronic controller.
The current installation manual lists an acceptable water pH range of approximately 6.5 to 8.5.
The manufacturer also specifically states that the InoxCORE pumps are not suitable for spa or pool water.
DRINKING WATER APPROVAL
Is the Bianco INOX60CORE Suitable for Drinking-Water Systems?
Yes. The current NXT InoxCORE manual identifies the pump range as meeting AS/NZS 4020 drinking-water approval requirements for products coming into contact with water intended for human consumption.
This relates to the materials used in the pump and water-contact components.
It does not mean the pressure pump filters, disinfects or makes contaminated rainwater suitable for drinking.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
How Is the INOX60CORE Powered?
The current pump specification is approximately 220–240V AC, 50Hz single phase with a maximum current of approximately 4A.
The 2026 manufacturer manual lists an approximately 1.5m 10A-rated lead with an Australian three-pin plug.
Bianco requires connection to a suitable electrical outlet with residual-current protection.
If no suitable power outlet exists in the required location, any new power point, circuit extension or other fixed electrical installation work is additional.
INSTALLATION LOCATION
Where Should the INOX60CORE Be Installed?
The pump should be located on a firm base as close as practical to the water source and near a suitable electrical supply.
Where rigid pipe fittings are used, Bianco recommends securing the pump on a suitable concrete tile, concrete base or similar stable support.
Pipework should be independently supported so its weight does not place unnecessary stress on the pump casing or electronic controller.
WEATHER PROTECTION
Can the INOX60CORE Be Installed Outdoors?
The current manufacturer manual requires the pump and controller to be protected from rain and moisture and from extremes of temperature.
Bianco specifies a weatherproof, free-draining and well-ventilated enclosure that also protects against flooding, chemicals, vermin, insects and excessive dust.
Do not treat the pump or controller IP rating as approval for unrestricted outdoor exposure. White International still requires environmental protection around the complete pressure system.
HOUSEHOLD SIZING
How Many Taps Can the INOX60CORE Supply?
White International's current product listing uses six taps as a product-selection guide.
A fixed tap number is not a reliable substitute for hydraulic sizing because taps, showers and irrigation outlets can have very different flow requirements.
Correct selection should consider:
- Simultaneous outlet flow
- Required pressure
- Suction lift
- Pipe diameter
- Pipe length
- Property elevation
- Filters and restrictions
- Garden or irrigation demand
Six taps is a manufacturer selection guide rather than a guarantee that six high-flow fixtures will operate simultaneously at maximum pressure.
