CONSTANT PRESSURE
What Does Variable Speed Do?
A basic fixed-speed domestic pump normally operates at one motor speed whenever it is called to run.
E.SYBOX instead monitors pressure and water flow and changes motor speed to suit the current demand.
One Outlet
At lower demand, the inverter can reduce pump speed instead of operating the motor at full output unnecessarily.
Several Outlets
As water demand rises, the controller can increase pump speed to help maintain the selected delivery pressure within the pump's performance envelope.
Demand Stops
Once water use stops, the electronic controls stop the pump and the integrated vessel helps manage very small pressure changes.
This does not create unlimited pressure or flow. The selected pressure can only be maintained while the required flow remains within the available hydraulic performance of the pump.

What Pressure Can the E.SYBOX Maintain?
DAB's E.SYBOX technical data provides an adjustable constant-pressure setpoint from approximately 1 to 6 bar, equivalent to approximately 100 to 600kPa.
The actual setpoint should be selected to suit the property plumbing, fixtures, water source and required duty.
The manufacturer also lists a maximum system working pressure of 8 bar or 800kPa.
Maximum working pressure is not the normal delivery-pressure setting. The 8-bar figure is the equipment's maximum working-pressure limit, while the electronic pressure setpoint for E.SYBOX is lower.
