3-WAY KITCHEN MIXER TAP

WFW Brushed Stainless Steel High-Rise 3-Way Kitchen Mixer

The WFW Brushed Stainless Steel High-Rise 3-Way Kitchen Mixer combines normal hot and cold kitchen water with a dedicated filtered drinking-water pathway in one streamlined tap.

The high-rise spout provides useful clearance over the sink, while the brushed stainless steel finish, 304 stainless steel construction, ceramic cartridge and separate filtered-water control make it suited to kitchens using a compatible under-sink water filtration system.

Instead of installing a separate filter tap alongside the main mixer, the 3-way design brings hot, cold and filtered drinking water together within one fixture.

Quick answer: the WFW Brushed Stainless Steel High-Rise Mixer is a 3-way kitchen tap for hot, cold and separately filtered drinking water. The filtered-water pathway remains separate from the normal hot and cold water inside the mixer, allowing a compatible under-sink filtration system to supply drinking water through the same tap.
WHAT IT DOES

What Is a 3-Way Kitchen Mixer?

A standard kitchen mixer combines hot and cold water. A 3-way mixer adds a separate internal pathway for filtered drinking water.

The WFW mixer combines these three functions within one high-rise tap while maintaining separate controls for normal kitchen water and filtered drinking water.

Hot Water

The main mixer lever controls the kitchen hot-water supply for normal washing, rinsing and food preparation.

```
Cold Water
The same mixer lever controls the normal cold-water supply and allows hot and cold water to be blended as required.
Filtered Drinking Water
A dedicated control operates the separate drinking-water pathway supplied by the connected under-sink filtration system.
WHO IT SUITS
Who Is the WFW 3-Way Mixer For?
Homes With Under-Sink Filtration
The mixer is designed for kitchens where a compatible filtration system supplies a dedicated filtered drinking-water line.
```

Stainless Kitchen Finishes

The brushed stainless finish can pair naturally with stainless steel sinks, appliances and other metallic kitchen fixtures.

Cleaner Sink Layouts

The filtered-water pathway is incorporated into the main mixer, removing the need for a second visible filter tap beside the sink.

```
KEY FEATURES
Key Features of the WFW Brushed Stainless Steel 3-Way Mixer
3-Way Functionality
Provides hot, cold and separately filtered drinking water through one kitchen mixer assembly.
```

304 Stainless Steel

The supplied product information lists 304 stainless steel construction for the mixer body.

Brushed Stainless Finish

The neutral metallic finish is designed to complement a broad range of modern and traditional kitchen styles.

High-Rise Spout

The raised spout provides useful space for filling larger pots, bottles, bowls and tall kitchen containers.

Aerated Water Flow

The mains-water outlet uses an aerated stream designed to provide controlled flow and reduce splashing.

Ceramic Cartridge

A ceramic cartridge controls the normal hot and cold mixer operation.

```
FILTERED WATER PATHWAY
Filtered Drinking Water Stays Separate
The WFW 3-Way Mixer uses a separate internal pathway for filtered drinking water.
The single mixer lever controls normal hot and cold water, while the dedicated filtered-water control draws water from the connected under-sink filtration system.
The mixer itself does not perform the filtration. Water quality and filtration performance depend on the filtration system and cartridges connected beneath the sink.
HIGH-RISE DESIGN
More Working Clearance Above the Kitchen Sink
The high-rise spout provides additional working space beneath the outlet compared with a lower-profile kitchen tap.
This can make it easier to fill large pots, drink bottles and tall containers, particularly when the mixer is paired with a deeper kitchen sink.
The high-rise format also allows the normal mixer and filtered-water functions to remain within one streamlined fixture.
WATER EFFICIENCY
6-Star WELS Rating & 4.5 L/min Listed Flow
The supplied product information lists the WFW mixer with a 6-Star WELS rating and an approximate mains-water flow rate of 4.5 litres per minute.
The aerated outlet is designed to provide a smooth kitchen water stream while limiting unnecessary flow.
HOW IT WORKS
How Does the WFW 3-Way Mixer Work?
1. Hot & Cold Connect Normally
The mixer's main connections connect to the property's standard kitchen hot and cold water supplies.
```

2. Filter Connects Separately

The dedicated filtered-water inlet connects to the outlet of a compatible under-sink drinking water filtration system.

3. Separate Controls Select the Water

The main lever controls hot and cold water while the dedicated filter control operates the drinking-water pathway.

```
FILTER COMPATIBILITY
Designed for Under-Sink Water Filtration
The WFW Brushed Stainless Steel 3-Way Mixer is designed for use with compatible under-sink drinking water filtration systems.
The filtration system supplies treated water to the dedicated drinking-water inlet while the normal hot and cold supplies remain separate.
Check compatibility before installation. Water filtration systems can use different tubing sizes, adaptors and fittings. Confirm that the selected under-sink filter can be connected correctly to the mixer's dedicated filtered-water inlet.
INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS
What Is Required to Install the WFW 3-Way Mixer?
The mixer requires normal hot and cold kitchen water connections together with a separate filtered-water connection from the compatible under-sink filtration system.
Main Application Normal hot and cold kitchen water Hot, cold and filtered drinking water
CARE & MAINTENANCE
How to Look After the Brushed Stainless Finish
Regular gentle cleaning helps maintain the appearance and operation of the mixer.
  • Wipe regularly with a soft cloth
  • Remove water marks before heavy residue develops
  • Keep the aerator free from debris
  • Avoid abrasive cleaning pads
  • Inspect flexible hoses during servicing
  • Service the ceramic cartridge if operation deteriorates
  • Maintain the connected filtration system separately
FILTER MAINTENANCE
The Mixer and Filter System Need Separate Maintenance
The WFW mixer provides the filtered-water pathway, while the connected under-sink system performs the filtration.
Filter cartridges should therefore be replaced according to the requirements of the filtration system connected beneath the sink.
Servicing the tap does not replace the need to maintain the filter cartridges, housings or other filtration equipment.
