Installation of a Instant/Continuous Flow Gas Unit Like for Like Replacement in *EXTERNAL* Position Only. Note existing unit must have the following compliant and pre-installed to be re-used unless purchased as add-on.

  1. Unit must be same or lower capacity unit 
  2. Existing hot water system orientation must be perpendicular to wall.
  3. Hot water system must be installed in compliant position.
  4. Where no valve kit has been purchased no allowance for any alterations are catered for. Installation must be exact make and model swap. Eg Rheem 491250 replacing Rheem 491250 not Rheem 101250
  5. Installation is NON-REFUNDABLE once trades are onsite for installation if the installation cannot proceed due to an incorrect purchase.
  6. Tempering Valve must be pre-installed or purchased for 60deg systems

    Installation Inclusions

    • Replacement Installation of Purchased Water Heater and Valve Kit in External Location
    • Installation within 10 Business Days of System Purchase (Same day install ad on available +$250 - Purchase at checkout)
    • Removal Of Existing System (Disposal can be added at checkout if required - please see hot water system recycling)
    • Electrical Disconnect/Reconnect
    • Gas compliance assessment and certificate (where required)
    • QBCC Form 4 Paid and Submitted

    INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS

    All online packages are for a like for like replacement (see definition below) in an EXTERNAL position (outside building lines) of an existing compliant installation only.

    Installation fee includes fitment of new system and purchased valve kit and add-ons only in readily accessible external position.

    Two man install will be required for an additional $200 where access issues noted below are applicable and installation is not safe to be completed by a single person.

    Access for installation is to be free of stairs, steep driveways, through homes, under buildings, over retaining walls, in ceilings. Unit must be able to be maneuverer by hand trolley from vehicle to installation position without being carried.

    Confirmation from installed today in writing of access suitability where any of the above conditions apply.

    TERM - LIKE FOR LIKE REPLACEMENT (WATER HEATERS)

    Like for like replacement includes the following replacement types below ONLY. Note all systems are for replacement installation only in an external forward facing compliant position. Please confirm the system will fit in the desired position prior to purchasing. If in doubt please send pictures to help@installedtoday.com.au to confirm.

    A. Gas storage replaced with Gas Storage

    B. Continuous Flow replaced with Gas Storage

    C. Continuous Flow replaced with Continuous Flow (Note power point must be reused and/or preinstalled)

    D. Electric Storage replaced with Electric Storage

    E. Electric Storage replaced with  Heat pump 

    F. Heat pump replaced with Heat pump

    G. Heat pump replaced with Electric Storage (May require electrician to extend circuit at additional cost)
